We're looking for someone EXTRAordinary…We are the world’s leading online marketplace for finding, buying and selling anything bike and we're after an experienced individual to help further our growth here in the United Kingdom.

Who is BikeExchange?

BikeExchange is an online marketplace for cycling that has been in operation for over 11 years. After establishing in Australia, the company experienced rapid growth and now can be also found in New Zealand, USA, Canada, Columbia, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland and the UK. We communicate to over 2-million cyclists worldwide each month.

Although our U.K office has only been in operation for two years, we come from a wealth of long-term experience through our other industry channels.  

What would your role with BikeExchange entail?

Working from your home in the U.K (from where you would go out to regular meetings), you are a talented individual driven to building the foundations we've created for our business and the bike stores who have joined us.

A day in the life of a Senior Sales Executive is varied, but a general guide of your day would be:

-Calling and introducing yourself to retailers that may not have heard of BikeExchange and getting them on-board

-Booking face-to-face visits with retailers

-Creating and implementing advertising campaigns for our clients that gives you and them the warm and fuzzies

-Working closely with our team at ‘base camp’ to ensure your retailers are being looked after

You will ideally have:

-Five years’ experience working in the UK bike industry sales and/or retail sector

-A desire to pave a career in our rapidly-growing company

-Hunger for success and willingness to expend that little bit of extra effort to achieve reward.

You will ideally be:

-An exceptional communicator by phone and face-to-face

-Highly skilled in phone sales and face-to-face contact

-Good computer skills 

-A self-starter  

-Motivated and driven to achieve during your day 

-Goal-oriented (someone who eats KPIs for breakfast)

-Personable and positive with a can-do attitude

-Emotionally intelligent

-Have a meticulous eye for detail

-A natural organiser with the ability to multitask

-Resilient

-Definitely a team player
