Edinburgh Bicycle Co-op is a long established, respected independent bike retailer. Founded in 1977, we operate 5 retail outlets across Scotland and the North of England as well as an ecommerce operation supported by a large warehouse/ distribution centre on the outskirts of Edinburgh. The business won “Britain’s Best Bike Shop 2017” through public vote. The award is a reflection of the high standard of service & knowledge exhibited by the whole business and the high esteem with which our customers hold us.
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Canonmills branch for the role of a Deputy Branch Manager and we’re inviting candidates to apply. This role is being offered on a temporary basis and is not expected to exceed a period of 6 months.
Based at our store near the centre of Edinburgh, you’ll report directly to the Canonmills Branch Manager and will work closely with him in all aspects of the running of the branch.
You will ideally have experience of working in a busy retail environment and of managing both staff and administrative systems. You’ll have strong leadership, organisational and people skills and you’ll feel confident about motivating our sales team to continue delivering first class customer service.
