Having served with Cycling Sports Group and its former Hotwheels incarnation for eleven years, Jon Watson has been promoted to the post of national field sales manager.
Watson has worked for a number of companies in a sales capacity as well as serving time in an independent bike shop for twenty-two years. He also races competitively for the Charge Bikes team at Cyclocross and mountain bike events.
Watson will lead the external Cycling Sports Group sales team comprising of CSG and Cannondale account managers. He will further strengthen the external sales force by utilising his long-term experience and industry passion to help CSG in its goal to serve the company’s customer base to the highest possible levels.
CSG head of sales Ian Wagman said: “After advertising the position on BikeBiz and interviewing various candidates, it became apparent that the answer to our needs to lead and strengthen our sales team was right under our nose with Jon. We always promote internally where it is suitable and Jon was the strongest candidate despite many excellent external applicants.”
