Kansi gets nominated for prestigious design award

Fisher Outdoor Leisure’s folding bike brand Kansi has garned praise from the world of design, receiving a nomination in the highly acclaimed Wallpaper Magazine Design Awards 2011.

The brand – the only one from the bike trade to be shortlisted – was picked by the judges for demonstrating practicality without sacrificing design or the user experience.

Kansi will be up against designs from the fashion and technology sectors in the awards, which celebrate innovative design for compact living and are sponsored this year by Aston Martin.

“This is amazing news for Kansi,” enthused Fisher’s Kansi marketing exec Steve Lee. “To be part of these awards shows that Kansi’s commitment to great design, modern living and rider enjoyment has been recognised by a prestigious panel of judges.”
