KASK previews new helmet on Tour

KASK’s new lightweight ventilated Valegro helmet is getting a preview with Team Sky during this year’s Tour de France. The helmet is scheduled for a full retail launch later this December.

Weighing in at 180g, the helmet will be promoted on the basis of an enhanced airflow and increased rider comfort. The Valegro uses a new breathable and quickdry padding designed to take moisture away from the head and the interior shape has considerably fewer contact points than other helmets, making for a more comfortable wear on long rides.

The Valegro will be one of the KASK helmets worn by Team Sky during this years’ Tour. Chris Froome and the team will also be sporting the Protone, the Infinity, and the Bambino Pro for TT stages.

KASK are making much of the race heritage of its design and their partnership with Team Sky.
