Much anticipated silicone coated locks land with UK stockist

Knog lock range now in stock with Moore Large

Knog’s much anticipated security line is now in stock with Derby distributor Moore Large.

Three locks – theParty Frank, Kabana and Kranksy – make up the line, which starts at a budget friendly £16.99 and tops out with the £39.99 Kranksy.

Each lock uses varying thicknesses of fibre core steel cables, often used for lifting cables thanks to the cable’s ability to bend and flex at maximum loads, but without damaging the cable. As such, when bolt-cutter pressure is applied, the fibre core steel cable gets cruched, not chopped, with the softer fibre cores absorbing the concentrated force and leaving the steel intact.

Another selling point of the Knog line is the nickle silver keys, which are much stornger than traditional bicycle lock keys, often made from brass. Each key is overmoulded with the same colour silicone as present on the lock.
