Date of cyclo-cross favourite revealed as October 22nd

Knog Muddy Hell returns to Herne Hill

Returning for a third year, Knog’s Muddy Hell cyclocross fixture has been announced as October 22nd at Herne Hill, which was recently given a new lease of life.

The event is open to all – youth, junior, senior, novice (men and women), vampires and ghosts. With its close proximity to Halloween, ghoulish fancy dress is actively encouraged.

Entry is not restricted to those with cyclo-cross bikes, as there are categories for mountain bikes, single speed and fixed too. Previous years have seen sell-out participation and huge crowds.

For the second year running accessory brand Knog has lined-up a £1,000 prize list, as well as swag bags for winners of all categories, containing products from its latest range.

Entry for spectators is free and alongside the racing will be beer, music, Rollapaluza roller-racing, huge crowds and hot food.

The event starts at 5pm and more details can be found on the Knog Muddy Hell website www.muddyhell.cx.

For riders thinking of travelling for this event, the weekend is a double-header of cross events in London with the Rapha Super Cross happening the very next day in Alexandra Palace Park.
