'Fastest Wrench in the West' competition on the ACT stand

ACT to run trade day competition

At this year’s Cycle show at Earls Court the Association of Cycle Traders will be running a daily competition to award the title of “Fastest Wrench In The West”.

This competition will be available on the trade day and ACT is laying down the gauntlet to shop owners and staff to test their skills against the clock.

A home tool kit worth £99 is up for grabs every day. Record the overall fastest time and win a voucher worth £100 to spend in a bike shop of your choice, and of course the glory of being crowned “Fastest Wrench In The West”.

While the prizes might be more exciting for members of the public the ACT hopes there will be plenty of interest on the trade day, as people want to prove they are the best of the best.

All times will be recorded and displayed during the event as well as online after the show so you can check your progress and see how you faired against friends and colleagues.

The ACT will also be on hand during the trade day to discuss the many benefits and services available to members and of course get feedback on the issues which matter to cycle retailers.

The ACT stand will also be staffed by the team from ATG Training who will be delivering technical demo’s on suspension set-up and wheel-building, plus information on Cytech training and accreditation courses.

Visit the ACT on stand D2e during Cycle: 9th – 12th October.
