The first general entry passes and race entries to Orbital Cycling Festival (26th to 28th July) are now available on the event's website.

An 'Early Bird' discount of 10 per cent is available until 31st March and further discounts are available to members of British Cycling, CTC and Sustrans.

In keeping with its 'cycling only' charity partner policy, Orbital has teamed up with a number of charities, above and beyond the aforementioned, meaning the likes of Access Sport, Wheels for Wellbeing, Wheels for All and Re-Cycle - the bicycle aid for Africa charity - will benefit.

Re-Cycle has also just informed BikeBiz that it has linked with luxury road cycling tour firm Njinga. The tour firm will now donate five per cent of its profits to Re-Cycle's work.

All races at Orbital have been designed specifically around the Goodwood Motor Circuit venue and have been given names like Tutti Frutti (scratch race), X+1 (road race), Dirty Critter (cross race) and Tactician (eliminator race).

Up to 680 camping pitches are to be available on site, with a 3,000 people potentially accommodated under canvas, in campers or in caravans.

Families are a major focus for the event and entry for all under 13's (on 1st Jan 2013) is completely free. Discounted family tickets for two Adults and two Youths (13 to 17) are available for each of the three days and for the weekend.

The current price list is found here.

At the heart of the event will be the Paddock Expo, which will host a huge range of cycling-centric exhibitors, who will be permitted to sell on site. Bikes will be available to test ride throughout the weekend - contact organisers to enquire about placing your bikes on the test tracks. There will be on site cash machines provided by Thomas Cook and wi-fi will be available for exhibitors to process card payments efficiently.

Secure bike parking will be provided in the Paddock Expo.
