Red Bull champions cycle commuting in new challenge

This July, commuters will be encouraged to avoid the tube, trains and buses in a bid to travel a collective one million miles via cycling and running in just one month, as Red Bull’s Million Mile Commute returns.

The initiative launched in 2017, with commuters surpassing the initial target in three months. This summer, Red Bull is again encouraging commuters to commit to cycle or run to work and collectively achieve one million human-powered miles, but this time the aim is to complete the challenge in just one month only.

Reaching each distance milestone will enter participants into a draw for that and all preceding milestones:

-The first 2,500 people to log one mile will be sent a Red Bull sample pack

-Ten miles: Limited Edition Strava socks (ten available)

-50 miles: One-year Strava Premium membership (ten available)

-100 miles: Limited Edition Red Bull fridge for your office with a year’s supply of stock (five available)

-250 miles: Marin Fairfax SC3 2018 bike provided by Cycle Surgery
