Tannus to support bloggers at CMAs

Tannus, one of the world’s leading suppliers of airless tyres, will honour cycle bloggers with its sponsorship of the Blogger of the Year category at the Cycling Media Awards.

The brand, which recently forged a significant new partnership with Specialized bikes, will present the accolade of Blogger of the Year at the official awards ceremony, which takes place on November 10th.

“Tannus recognises the importance of bloggers in the new cycling media landscape. It’s largely thanks to bloggers that word of the Tannus airless puncture-free tyres has been spread so wide.

“The honest, perceptive and at times critical views of bloggers, driven by a shared love of cycling, are a huge benefit to the industry and anyone who loves to ride a bike,” commented Jazz Walia, Tannus European sales director.

Korean brand Tannus introduced products to the UK market just over two years ago. The tyres are being used by more than 25,000 riders up and down the country, and are available in more than 500 shops around Europe.

Representatives from the brand will attend the prestigious awards, which take place once again at the Islington Metal Works in London. The 2016 CMAs will recognise the hardworking media representatives in the cycling industry, and celebrate the contributions made by key influencers.

Tickets for the 2016 event are now on sale, and can be purchased from the Cycling Media Awards website: www.cyclingmediaawards.com.
