Time Inc has announced five key editorial appointments across its cycling portfolio.

Simon Collis is promoted to content director for the portfolio. In his new role, Simon will be responsible for managing editorial content and resource across all brands in print, digital and video. Simon makes this move from his current role as editor of Mountain Bike Rider and head of digital content for the group.

After many years as deputy editor of Mountain Bike Rider, Danny Milner is promoted to editor. Luke Evans returns to Cycle Sport as editor for a second time, and Simon Richardson is promoted to editor of the group’s flagship brand Cycling Weekly, after many years as deputy editor and several months as acting editor.

Hannah Reynolds will now edit the recently re-launched Cycling Active. Hannah moves into this role after heading up the health and fitness content across many brands within the group, while also editing the quarterly publication, Cycling Fitness.

Keith Foster, publishing director of Time Inc. UK’s cycling portfolio says: “These changes reflect our ongoing need to manage the editorial demands of the group resources more efficiently across multiple print and digital brands, while also retaining clarity and focus for each individual brand”.

“Our recent significant successes in digital and video, driven by Simon Collis, have tapped into every area of our print and digital resource – with many staff now actively involved in producing multi-platform content for print, online and video. This new structure will ensure that we continue to manage those resources in the best way possible”.
