In October, H Young Holdings PLC accepted Terry Bowles' decision to step-down as CEO of the Madison Group. There has now been a reorganisation of the management structure at H Young. The fishing tackle and two wheel divisions will now have separate MDs. Dominic Langan, formerly Madison's commercial director, becomes the new MD of Madison's bicycle and motorbike division.

A statement from H Young said splitting the management of the two wheel business from the management of the Leeda fishing tackle division will "enable each business to focus on achieving its next phase of growth."

Langan has worked in the bicycle industry for 16 years.

He is one of the directors of the Bicycle Association and sits on the committee of the Bike Hub levy scheme. He has recently spent time helping to refocus the Bikeforall.net website. This bike industry portal is currently being redesigned and recoded, ready for an end of year relaunch.

A statement from H Young said the company "looks forward to [Langan’s] experience and innovation, reinforcing and growing Madison’s position as the premier distributor of parts and accessories in the industry."
