In the 2017 line up Lapierre will introduce a new range of Sport MTBs named the Edge series, which will be available from stockists in late June.
The brand has said the bikes will be taking Lapierre know how from the Zesty and applying it to a more accessible bike for riders looking to progress.
David Flynn sales manager at Hotlines had this to say: "It’s always been an aim for Lapierre to bring the characteristics of the zesty as far down the price range as possible. It’s great to see this now happening and we expect this will be a very popular range for many reasons.
"The UK market loves the 140 – 160mm travel range and the Edge falls perfectly into this category earning its AM badge so expect to see them on the trails near you very soon.”
Equipped with 140mm of travel front and rear, the frame is made of aluminium Supreme 5. 27.5’’ wheels and a slack, long and low geometry, based on the existing Zesty range, offer an optimale ride.
The bikes also feature RockShox Sektor Silver fork (140mm) and a Lapierre shock (140mm); Shimano (Deore/XT) transmission and brakes; Lapierre Nico Vouiilloz signature parts.
Available in 4 sizes (S, M, L, XL), the Edge AM is priced at £1549.99.
