It is part of what the show organisers are calling a heavyweight marketing campaign, including coverage and support through The Telegraph, to back the show. The competition is being promoted at www.Telegraph.co.uk and in The Daily Telegraph and The Sunday Telegraph.

The 2013 event attracted over 38,000 visitors and organisers are expecting to see an increase in 2014.

Keith Perry, Managing Director of Sport at The Telegraph commented: "The Telegraph are committed to making the 2014 London Bike Show better than ever and will be supporting the event with substantial advertising and editorial resource. We already offer excellent cycling coverage online and in-print and we will continue to extensively support cycling as it continues to grow within the UK."

Earlier this year the Telegraph Media Group acquired a majority stake in London Bike Show organisers VOS Media. The firm recently revealed the launch of the London Triathlon Plus Show to run alongside the show.
