MTB rider Darren Berrecloth is set to join the Ledlenser product development team

Ledlenser appoints Darren Berrecloth

Ledlenser, the German torch and head lamp manufacturer, has announced the appointment of the world-class Canadian freeride mountain biker Darren “The Claw” Berrecloth to its Pro team.

Darren achieved international recognition in the mountain bike (MTB) world after winning third place at the Red Bull Rampage in 2002, along with a host of other individual trophies. The rider broke his back in 2011, returning to competitive riding the following year. Ledlenser claim that Darren will bring that same determination and commitment to work alongside Ledlenser’s R&D Department and help the company engineer high quality flashlights and headlamps.

Ledlenser say it aims to increase awareness of the brand and its products, especially for extreme sport and outdoor enthusiasts. The company were pleased the success of the 2000 lumens XEO19R lamp, which won the Red Dot Product Design award, while the everyday SEO Bike Light series has further bolstered the company’s presence in the biking sector.
