Bike PressCamp starts Tuesday morning in Deer Valley, Utah, and you could have a ringside seat as I will be beaming live pictures – wifi willing – via Twitter’s Periscope app. Follow me on Twitter, and Periscope, to get notified of when the broadcasts go live.
Periscope is a live video app, with films archived for just 24 hours. Viewers can interact with questions or "liking" what they see (I get to see hearts rising in the air with each like).
I’ll be pointing my iPhone at the folks representling the brands present at PressCamp – the output won’t be up to BBC Outside Broadcast standards but the BBC ain’t here so it’ll be unique, if a little shonky.
There are 25 brands at PressCamp including Alpinestars, BESV, BionX, Bosch, Camelbak, Cannondale, Enve, Fabric, Focus, GT, iZip, Kali, Knog, Kalkoff, Orbea, Pivot, Raleigh USA, Ridley, Smith Optics, Stan’s No Tubes, Sombrio and Wahoo Fitness.
