Mobile edition of A-Z's London Mini Street Atlas launched

London Cycle Maps on your mobile

A special edition of A-Z’s London Mini Street Atlas has been launched to include Transport for London’s cycle route information.

Used with a GPS receiver, the map moves to keep the cyclist at the centre of the screen. Current speed and the direction and distance to a chosen destination are also shown.

The software also has a searchable index of more than 129,000
entries, including streets, postcodes, districts, stations, hospitals and bike shops. Clicking an entry in the search results quickly displays a map showing its location.

Two versions of the map are available for the Windows Mobile and Symbian S60 Third Edition platforms. A list of compatible devices is on the A-Z website where the map is downloadable for £6.95. On-line technical support is provided.

CycleCity Guides is currently surveying routes in a number of cities, including Manchester, Merseyside, Bristol and Tyneside, and these are also expected to be available electronically in the near future.

Contact CycleCity Guides for a demonstration version of A-Z’s digital London Mini Street Atlas.
