Mudgrubs puts call out to trade for a retail partner to grow fledgling e-commerce site

Looking for an e-commerce website for your bike store?

Online bike and outdoors shop Mudgrubs is looking to partner with a bike dealer for its growing online retail shop.

The site – www.mudgrubs.com – has been running for two years as a part time concern and now the portal’s owners feel the time is right for it to take off.

The sites creators will provide all the technical maintenance of the site, including bespoke configuration, security, integration to the stores stock management systems and will manage all Payment Card Industry compliance issues.

Prospective partners will be required to take on day-to-day order fulfilment and supplier relationships, handle incoming order and technical queries, update and add stock to the site and maintain the product category side of the portal.

The firm explained the reasons behind the unusual move: “Quite simply, we see this as the best way to grow the site, nothing sinister or dodgy – we’re simply interested in partnering up with folks who can see the mutual benefit of it.

“At present, we’re restricted by time and ‘people power’. With only a couple of us involved day-to-day, both currently full time employed and with young children, the website is not growing at its full potential. We’d like to change this and really see it ramp up.

“We recognise our skills are best put to use in constantly updating and improving the site, and feel having a partnership with someone from an operational side would enable us to put our skills to their best use.”
