Madison to distribute Dragon eyewear

Madison has finalised an agreement to distribute the Dragon range of eyewear products to the cycling and motorsports industries in the UK.

The two companies have a working history: Madison-Saracen Factory Race Team has been using Dragon goggles during the World Cup races for the past five years.

The Californian brand, currently in its 23rd year of trading, has built a reputation in the eyewear market for its hard-wearing products, having been worn by mountain bike, snow and surf athletes. With an extensive history in the extreme sports market, Madison is well-placed to distribute Dragon’s MX products to the UK market.

Craig Smith, sales manager at Dragon, said: “Having supported Madison’s Downhill MTB team for the past five years, when the opportunity arose to partner for MX distribution, it was an easy choice.”

New for 2017, Dragon is introducing the Lumalens colour-optimised lens technology, which offers ultra-high definition optics across the entire spectrum of light conditions. The new lens is also designed to reduce haze and increase depth perception.

“Dragon’s legacy of industry-leading design and performance, while setting a new standard for convenience and versatility across the range, will offer the MX and [cycling] dealers a true point of difference to everything else out there. We are excited to be adding Dragon’s range to our MX and cycle brand portfolio,” commented Dragon Alliance brand director, Adrian Phillips.

Madison will begin distributing Dragon eyewear in the UK and Ireland immediately. For more information on Madison, click here.
