Mango Bikes seeks dealers and international distributors

Mango Bikes has this week launched its first 18-speed geared bikes to sit alongside its singlespeed and kids models.

Mango has put in place an introductory offer of £449 during the launch period, with the price eventuall rising to £479.

Mango Owner Jezz Skelton said: "Since launching two years ago we’ve seen quick growth in the single speed and fixed gear market, particularly online and we’re now building and dispatching thousands of bikes a year to all over the UK and Europe. We’ve built a reputation for quality, simplicity, style and great value aiming our bikes at young professionals, students, lifestyle riders and entry-level road cyclists. In fact, we now see lots of experienced cyclists coming to us for something reliable, durable and fun which is a great sign.

"Going forward we hope to build on this reputation and become a world recognised brand, which designs and builds great bikes for a variety of riders. Our 18-speed Road/Commuter bike is now available opening us up to a wider market and we have lots more models in prototype, planned to roll out in the not too distant future. We’re also now actively seeking dealers around the country and distributors internationally to stock the growing range and build successful relationships by making Mango Bikes available to everyone both online and offline.

The 2014 geared range, dubbed the "Black Series", features an 18-speed MicroSHIFT R9 group, oversize drop bars, fully sealed Chasewood hubs, upgraded Mango Bikes Velo saddle and a dual ring Chasewood crank.

With plans to up its presence within independent bike shops, the firm has put in place a demo bike program for trade accounts. Dealer enquiries can now be directed to jezz@mangobikes.co.uk.
