Mark Cavendish to attend Cycle Show 2018

The Cycle Show has today announced that Mark Cavendish MBE will attend this year’s event.

Cavendish, who has 146 professional victories to his name including 48 Grand Tour wins and the 2011 World Championships title, will appear alongside a star-studded list of riders at the 2018 show.

The British public will have an opportunity to connect with Cavendish on the final day, 30th September.

He will deliver a Q&A with the audience, allowing visitors to put their questions directly to him, as well as sharing tales of his journey from riding BMX as a child to being at the top of his sport.

VIP ticket holders will also have the opportunity to rub shoulders in the VIP Lounge where he’ll be signing autographs and taking photos with fans.

The show is taking place at the NEC Birmingham between 28th-30th September, after a trade day on 27th September.

With free test tracks featuring the latest road bikes, MTBs, electric and kids bikes, visitors will have the option to ‘try before they buy’ alongside benefiting from special show offers on the most innovative cycling gear, accessories and kit.

There will also be two kids tracks to get youngsters riding, and for slightly higher-octane action, the Extreme Bike Battle will provide a chance to see adrenaline fuelled stunts from across the BMX and MTB world, with the UK’s number one BMX ranked rider Lee Musselwhite on hand.
