Amer Sports, owner of Mavic, acquires Enve Composites of Utah.

Mavic-owner buys Enve for $50m

Amer Sports Corporation has acquired Enve Composites of Utah, USA, in an all-cash deal worth $50m.

Enve markets high-end carbon wheels, components, and accessories for road and mountain biking with annual sales of approximately $30m.

A statement from Amer said the acquisition "accelerates" its business in the US and "provides further expansion opportunities internationally."

Amer owns Salomon, Wilson, Atomic, Arc’teryx, Mavic, Suunto and Precor.
