Helmet to be launched after two years of development

MET to launch ‘Sine’ at Eurobike

MET will be launching what they claim to be a ‘new approach to helmet design’ at Eurobike. The Sine has been two years in the making, yet the manufacturer claims that the approach to marketing this model has been unique.

Obviously weight, ventilation, comfort, and aerodynamics play a huge part in the design, however the company claim to have gone ‘way beyond’ what can be achieved using existing technologies like traditional In-Mold construction.

This revolutionary helmet, tested during the 2008 Tour de France by the Liquigas and Cofidis Teams, features three patented innovations:

* ICE Lite(tm)- open structure design with an exoskeleton-like integrated support element for unparalleled ventilation and ultimate safety.

* GELO2(tm) – world’s first use of hypo-allergenic and thermo-stabilizing gel padding.

* HCS20(tm) – a new definition of helmet comfort – less than 20 per cent of the head surface is in contact with the helmet.

MET is official helmet sponsor at the Eurobike Demoday. MET test helmets are available for the day, plus special sales offers are available to any interested dealer.

Buy any helmet at 50 per cent of the wholesale price and the proceeds will be donated to Hans Rey’s Wheels4Live Project thereafter.

MET helmets will be exhibited at Eurobike, MET spa, Hall A4-403, and MET/ Sport Import, Hall A3-101-202.
