Air tickets have been bought so that Dave Mirra, the world's best-known BMXer, can fly to the UK and take part in the Haro tour later this month. However, Ryan Nyquist has pulled out. You'll see why when you click in to this story

Mirra to join Moore Large’s Haro UK tour

If David Beckham’s poorly foot can make the front pages of British tabloids, the mangled foot of US BMX star Ryan Nyquist can surely grace the pages of a bike trade website.

Nyquist broke his foot on the day before Christmas Eve and therefore had to pull out of the Haro UK tour.

He’s being replaced by his brother, Shea.

The other riders – apart from Dave Mirra, undoubtedly the star attraction – include Josh Harrington, Stefan Geisler and Anthony Pill.
