The long-standing, rep-fuelled factoid that other cycle cleaning fluids are made by the same company that makes Muc Off is not true, reaffirms Alex Trimnell of X-lite.
A rumour is [still] flying around the trade that some of our competitors cycle cleaners use the same formula as Muc-Off. This is completely un-true, we have a unique formula that no other cycle cleaner is currently using. We do not bottle fluids for anyone else.
We mix, dye and bottle all of our fluids 100 percent in our factory in Poole.

Muc-Off is the original pink, fast to use cycle cleaner, said Trimnell.
Imitations have come and gone, but still Muc-Off continues to out sell other brands.
