For 2009, Gipiemme will offer a UK specific range of wheels, saddles and accessories. Nemesis will take on sole distribution of the brand.
The wheels are handmade and designed in Italy – manufactured and assembled. Sapim spokes, Autolock Nipples, aluminium from Italy and carbon fibre sourced from Europe are used within the range.
Gipiemme has a long history in the Italian bicycle industry. The original company was founded in Milan in 1964 and was one of the very first manufacturers of cycle groupsets responsible for a number of early innovations and manufacturing techniques.
