The Moore Large incentive trip for IBDs is to the beaches of Sri Lanka. Falcon go the opposite extreme: their top-earning accounts will be flown to Iceland

New Falcon MD proves he’s a cool geyser

The Falcon 2001 Icelandic Adventure promotion is being rolled out to Falcon accounts this

week. Some of the bigger accounts were told about the promotion last week and Steven Bell, the Falcon MD is glad that the choice of Iceland as a venue has been accepted as "innovative" and "exciting" by the target audience.

The promotion rewards IBDs with ‘airmiles’. A Claud Butler product will earn 8 miles and a Falcon will earn 6 miles. The promotion period extends from 29th May to 31st August and

all bikes delivered during that period will count towards earning Airmiles.

Bell said "Dealer promotions have been largely overlooked for the past few years, however I am a firm believer that we should reward our customers with incentives that they can enjoy."

In the 1980s Bell was marketing manager at Raleigh and he will remember the famous Raleigh dealer trips.

The Iceland trip will include a snow-jeep safari, visits to waterfalls such as the towering Skogafoss, and the obligatory homage to the soap-powered geyser, from which the rest of the world’s water spouts were named.

And, who could resist swimming outdoors in the freezing cold in the swimming pools fed by hot springs…
