Italian built, BigFish folding bike debuting on TV this Sunday

New folder seeks distribution home

The company behind a new folding bike making its debut appearance in the UK this Sunday on the TV channel Ideal World, are seeking a distributor in the UK.

The Slovenian designed, Italian built Big Fish has a heavily-patented and innovative folding technology, with no hinge and a folding time of ten seconds that requires no screwing or tools. What’s more, when folded the bike can be wheeled along.

According to Robert Logie, the man behind Big Fish: "The unfolded bike has key ratios identical to a full-size bike, wheelbase, pedals, handlebars and seat post. We think it’s a really cool bike, and anyone who sees it tends to agree. It’s currently available through bigfishbike.co.uk, the Ideal World website, and we’re looking for UK distribution partners into retail."

A Youtube video of the folder in action can be seen here.

The build costs £599 at retail.
