Powabyke and cycle insurer Cycleguard have teamed up to produce bike insurance specifically aimed at e-bikes owners.
Following enquiries from the public on what insurance was available for the electric bike sector, the brand decided to work with an insurance service accessible online and exclusive to electric bike owners.
The online e-bike insurance can be accessed through the Powabyke site – www.powabyke.com – where a button leads to a fast quote. Insurance starts from £4.33 per month and there is a ten per cent off special offer when ordered through the Powabyke website.
“With this service we just wanted to offer a little peace of mind to electric bike owners,” explained Powabyke MD Nick Child.
“Whilst electric bikes are very cost effective they are still an investment and to protect that investment we have joined up with Cycleguard to offer insurance for e-bikes.”
