Steven Bell, who worked for Raleigh in the mid-1980s, was appointed MD of Falcon Cycles on Tuesday, leaving his job as sales and marketing director of Staffs Tableware.
Bell will report to Paul Vicary, Tandem Group plcs commercial director and Mervyn Keene, the finance director.
Married with three children, Bell will relocate to North Lincolnshire in the spring.
Vicary has been Falcon MD for nine years and will remain closely involved with the business as a Falcon board director. The appointment of a new MD enables Vicary to both manage Tandems newly acquired subsidiary, Pot Black, the snooker table manufacturer, line up possible future acquisations for the Tandem Group, including the possible addition of further cycle companies.
