With input from Oli Beckinsale and with info compiled by coach Simon Doughty, author of the newly published 'The Long Distance Cyclists' Handbook', timeoutdoors.com will have tons of cycling content by July

New sports portal to offer cycle section

The site has already launched but, for the moment, is filled with content about running only.

The site is privately funded and minimally staffed. Contributions will come from recognised experts, paid on a freelance basis.

Timeoutdoors.com has negotiated tie-ups with running retailers and is seeking to do the same for the other sports sectors it is aiming to tap into.

The cycling content will be wide-ranging: from cyclo-cross to touring to hard-core mountain biking.
