87 of Robin Williams’ bikes to be auctioned for charity

Comic actor Robin Williams was a fanatical cyclist. The “Mrs. Doubtfire” star built up a collection of over 100 bicycles. 87 of them are now being auctioned for charity.

The collection contains everything from a unicycle to top-of-the-range carbon fibre superbikes. There are also one-of-kind bikes, many of them in trademark jazzy colours which the the late comedian seemed most attracted to.

The online house Paddle8 is handling the auction in conjunction with Williams’s family. Proceeds from the sale will go to the Challenged Athletes Foundation, and the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation.

The auction closes on October 25th.
