HKT partners with Unite Components

After parting ways with Joystick, HKT’s focus has shifted away from the far-east supply chain and towards a more sustainable UK-based partner. “By partnering with Unite Components, we’ve been able to do just this,” commented the company in a recent statement.

HKT confirmed that the newly-formed relationship is currently taking positive form, with POS and display units as a key focus of discussions.

“Unite holds innovation and quality in the highest regard and is set to be one of, if not the only UK brand to be ISO 9001 accredited. In short, when it comes to quality, it is not messing around!” commented HKT’s Oliver Green.

“As far as innovation goes, HKT have been lucky enough to see what’s next for unite and it is safe to say we are all pretty excited for it. Watch this space for some pretty interesting new products coming soon! At present Unite have a strong range of chain rings to suit all cranks, chainguides, bash guides, replacement Santa Cruz linkage bolts and a whole host of other products all made right here in the UK.

“Through our partnership with Unite, we have already managed to put a few nice little changes in place, the first of which will be a spares and replacement parts list, this means that your customers can easily swap out any broken or bent parts such as designed fail safes like bash plates. These will all be at a sensible price, no more chucking good kit in the bin,” concluded Green.

All lines will be available on the HKT B2B.
