TaiSPO splits from Taiwan Cycle Show for 45th anniversary

The Taiwan event will return for its 45th edition with over 300 exhibiting manufacturers and 1,800 exhibition stands at the show.

TaiSPO will return for its 45th show from March 8th to the 10th, 2018 in conjunction with the Taipei International Sports Textile and Accessory Expo and the Taiwan International Diving and Water Sports Show.The show will feature the latest outdoor goods from leading national and international manufacturers.

This is the first time since 2011 that TaiSPO will be held separately from Taipei Cycle Show. The organizer of the two events, TAITRA, puts the split down to shifting the Taiwan Cycle Show dates to meet with industry expectations after a comprehensive industry survey. Taipei Cycle is rescheduled for end October – beginning November.

TaiSPO’s event organizer TAITRA commented: “TaiSPO will continue to focus on fitness, camping, outdoor, and water sports equipment, as well as sportswear.” Visitors can expect to see 300 exhibiting manufacturers and 1,800 exhibition stands and seize the, “best opportunities to meet with suppliers in Taiwan and the Asia region to source new partners in the sporting industry.”

According to reports from TaiSPO 2017, over 23,000 local and international visitors attended the event. The international sports goods show expects to attract high volumes of international interest following the success of past shows.

TaiSPO 2018 will be open on March 8th for trade visitors only, at the usual venue, the Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1 & 3, while March 9th and 10th welcomes both trade visitors and public visitors. Register online to visit TaiSPO 2018.
