Northwave launches new winter boots range

Northwave has launched a selection of new winter boots and colours for 2019/20.

The new Extreme RR 3 Winter Boot is due at the end of October, but many have landed just in time for the arrival of Autumn. They are now available via UK distributor i-ride, which also now has stock of the Flash GTX, Extreme XCM 2 and Flash Arctic GTX boots.

“Both the Flash GTX and the Flash Arctic GTX come with a range of features that you would expect to find on any great road shoe,” said the company. “Both have Northwave’s NRG Air Carbon reinforced sole and make use of Northwave’s SLW2 dial system. They come with high visibility 360-degree reflective inserts making them perfect for commuting as well as cold or wet weekend riding.

“If you are looking for an all-round winter boot then the Flash GTX might be just the boot for you. Perfect for keeping your feet dry and warm, the Flash GTX can cope with conditions as cold as -3°C. For anything more extreme, the Flash Arctic GTX will cover you down to -10°C. Designed with a Gore-Tex waterproof outer and windproof Koala membrane the Flash Arctic GTX keeps your feet perfectly dry and warm.”

The Extreme XCM 2 has been designed for those that focus more on off-road riding.

“The XCM 2 has a natural rubber tread for enhanced grip making the Extreme XCM 2 perfect for off-road riding and providing the best possible grip in all situations,” said Northwave.

“With its water and windproof Gore-Tex Duratherm Kelvin membrane, the XCM 2 keeps your feet perfectly insulated and warm even at – 15°C! Much like the Flash boots, the XCM 2 has 360° reflective inserts improving rider visibility in low light conditions.”
