www.interbike.com has been redesigned and will soon accept online registrations. It’s free for retailers and distributors, but only until August 23rd, then ‘late registration’ costs $25.
Non exhibiting manufacturers/ad agency folks/industry affiliates types pay $200 if pre-registered before the cut-off date. and $250 afterwards.
Nearly three-quarters of the exhibit floor space has been reserved. The show organiser anticipates another sold-out show as the sales team begin the process of mailing the 2002 Interbike Sales Programme this week.
Lance Camisasca, Interbike show director, said:
"The Sales Programme mailing is sure to fill the remainder of the expo’s final floor space. We’re excited with the 28 percent increase in booth reservations compared to the same time last year.
The Interbike International Bicycle Expo typically occupies over 660,000 square feet of exhibit space in Las Vegas’ Sands Convention Center and plays host to over 20,000 attendees from the bicycle industry, including many from the UK.
"We’ve employed a lot of resources in an effort to make Interbike 2002 the best trade event for our industry. The new 3-day expo format is a direct result of attendee feedback and we’ll continue to integrate programmes that will enhance the show for those people exhibiting and those buying," commented
Prior to the show, Interbike hosts a one-day Outdoor Demo allowing buyers and media a chance to test bikes and cycling equipment from exhibitors. Interbike is produced by VNU Expositions, a full service event management company. The
Sands Expo and Convention Center, Las Vegas, Nevada, October 6-8, 2002. The Outdoor Demo will be held October 5th in Blue Diamond, Nevada.
