Orange launching new 2020 collection at Cycle Show

Orange Bikes is launching a brand new 2020 bike collection at the Cycle Show 2019.

“The Orange Bikes range has never seen such a large overhaul, in the full suspension range we have revised the Stage 5 and Stage 6, Surge and Charger and introduced the exciting Switch 6 and two e-bikes; the Surge 29 and the Phase,” said a statement. “We’ve also updated the Clockwork Evo and Clockwork Evo 29, the P7 29, expanded our gravel offering in the RX9 range, we’re launching the X9 and the E-Rush is ready to go!”

It will be on display for the first time in the UK on stand 2-H40.

Stage 5 and Stage 6

Hand-built in its factory in the UK with its single pivot platform, both of the long travel 29ers have had a full overhaul with fully updated geometry designed to work with reduced offset forks and featuring revised suspension kinematics and specs.

Surge 29

For 2020, it has updated its Surge and Charger models with a new slimmer downtube featuring the compact M8035 Shimano battery with allen key removal and a new power button placed on the top Tube. The new Surge 29 and Phase expand the range and give a choice on wheel size utilising all the same geometry updates as the new Stage 5 and 6.

Switch 6 and Phase

The new Switch 6 and Phase e-bike are two brand new models that take maximum advantage of the new UCI ruling to allow mixed wheel sizes in competition. Both bikes utilise the smooth, fast-rolling and grip of a 29in front wheel while retaining the feel of a 27.5in rear wheel.
