Over £11,000 of bikes stolen from Cornwall bike shop

In the early hours of Sunday morning (2nd August) Callington Cycles in Cornwall was broken into.

Bikes to the retail value of £11,000 have been stolen from the premises on Fore Street in Callington.

The shop contacted BikeBiz to help warn other bike shops to be vigilant and also to keep an eye out for the stolen stock:

  • Forme Longcliffe 2.0
  • Forme Longcliffe 3.0
  • Forme Longcliffe 4.0c
  • Forme Alport 300
  • Mongoose Tyax
  • Claud Butler Alpina
  • Claud Butler Trailridge
  • Forme Flash LTD
  • Forme ATT 1.0
  • Claud Butler Torno

Despite the huge theft the shop opened the next day: "…but not quite so well stocked at the moment."

Anyone with any information or with info on any of those models is urged to call the shop or Callington Police.
