Oxford Cycle Workshop Training stars in TV Co-op ad

The Co-operative’s new national advertising campaign ‘Join The Revolution’ is to feature Oxford Cycle Workshop Training.

The campaign makes its TV debut tonight at 9.45pm on ITV1 and will also be seen in newspapers like The Independent and Metro.

The commercials centre on the Co-operative’s ethical operations plan for the coming three years. Oxford Cycle Workshop Training is among the many that have received support from the Co-operative Enterprise Hub over the last two years.

The campaign advert, which you can view here, was directed by Luke Scott, son of movie legend Ridley Scott.

Oxford Cycle Workshop Training is a social enterprise and a community-owned organisation, owned by nearly 400 members from across Oxford. The organisation delivers training within Oxford from introduction courses in cycle maintenance through to qualifications.

Forthcoming projects include working with Cherwell School – a nationally signficant school in terms of numbers of pupils using bikes to make their journey to and from school. OCWT is teaching a cycle mechanic qualification and delivering alternative curriculum programmes within the school.
