The B.O.S.S. Report is a weekly, US-based PDF for the 'Bicycle, Outdoor, and SnowSports' markets (hence B.O.S.S.). In the latest edition there's an interview with Scott Montgomery, ex VP of Cannondale, now in charge of reintroducing the Scott bike brand to a US market, as first revealed by BikeBiz.com in March.

German pannier rack manufacturer is known for its super-tough, super-expensive carriers. Later this year the company will produce a £35 aluminium rack, also made in Germany, but sub-branded as Racktime. Simon Gershon of Orbit Cycles is the UK distributor for Tubus but feels Racktime should be handled by a bigger supplier. Interested?

Bike IT! is a national pilot cycling scheme which aims to encourage schoolchildren to take to two wheels. The scheme is co-funded by the Department for Transport and the British bicycle industry via the Bike Hub levy. Four of the pilot schools are in York, and transport minister Tony McNulty paid a visit to Our Lady’s Primary School in Acomb, close to York city centre.
