Hero of Hamilton to make appearance at Las Vegas expo

You didn't need a stopwatch and its 1000ths second to find out who won the men's time trial at the World Championships in Hamilton, Canada. You could have got by with a wonky watch with just a minute hand. Scot David Millar obliterated the rest of the field. He will be at Interbike, signing autographs and picking up tasty kit. Injuries galore as IBDs throw themselves around Bootleg canyon

It's Saturday, a busy day for US IBDs. But that didn't stop them flocking to Interbike's second Outdoor Demo day at Boulder City, close to Lake Mead and Hoover Dam. As well as the latest bikes, expo visitors could try out different pedal systems (Pearl Izumi supplied the shoes, Crank Brothers the cleats), helmets, hydration packs and - very important, this - sports sunscreen.
