Specialist distributor Paligap, which has been distributing Marin bikes in the UK since 2014, will team up with Cycle Republic to help elevate the profile of the brand and help to grow consumer awareness in the UK &ndndash; targeting key inner-city locations.

Cycle Republic is a cycling specialist that opened its first shop in Euston Tower, London in December 2014. It currently has 19 shops located across the UK and significant growth plans for 2018.
Cycle Republic managing director Peter Kimberley added: “We are delighted to be stocking Marin, a brand that holds so much heritage and has built a worldwide following through their innovation. The range introduced in 2018 is really exciting and is a perfect fit for our customers whether they are a specialist MTB rider, cyclists riding for fitness or seeking to enjoy their daily commute.”
Marin has introduced three new platforms into the market for 2018 with more to come next summer. Oli Brown, who was recently appointed as brand manager, is rolling out a Marin IBD training programme that is available to all Marin dealers. This includes technical seminars, staff demo rides, and exceptional staff purchase programme.
