Paligap recruits a new B2B website manager

The new role has been awarded to Graham Smith, who joins the company from TriUK, and is the second Paligap employee in recent months recruited via the BikeBiz jobs page.

The brand has said that Smith will manage the reboot of Paligap’s digital presence so that it offers business partners and consumers an improved online experience.

In his new role as B2B website manager, Smith will jump-start Paligap’s main B2B website, its consumer-facing site, all of the brand pages, and the distributor’s various technical, warranty and service centres.

Paligap owner Dave Lane said: "Graham’s experience is a perfect fit for the job. His time at TriUK saw him manage the update and growth of the shop’s website, optimising the site to create sales.

"In typical bike industry style, Graham has also got stuck into various other jobs, organising attendance at trade shows, developing sales and marketing plans, and even helping to set up Tri-UK’s on-site coffee shop."

The update of Paligap’s systems, expected to span over next four months, is part of a wider restructure of the business. It leads on from the introduction of a new team of brand managers, a new marketing manager, a new warehouse management system, a new fleet of vehicles, and increased investment in the distributor’s dealer network.

Lane continued: “Our website is massively important to us and to our dealers. Graham has brought a massive amount of expertise into the business and will really help us to drive forward how we communicate. He’s a great asset to the team and we’re looking forward to showing you what we’ve got planned.”
