Paligap’s sales team swells with trio of recruits

Paligap has expanded its sales team with three new recruits, bolstering the existing brand portfolio as well as handling new arrival Marin.

Sales Manager Tony Rose said: “Again due to Paligap’s rapid expansion and the acquisition of Marin bikes I am really pleased to have these three highly motivated and enthusiastic guys on board, all three come with a good grounding within the cycle industry and the sport as a whole, this will allow us not to just rejuvenate the Marin Brand back in the UK & Eire but will also allow us to open up new opportunities for all our existing brands with our already successful portfolio.”

Nick White joins Paligap as the new Area Account manager for the East Anglia and Midlands. White has 17 years of working in the cycling industry developing an excellent technical knowledge and understanding of the complexities of not only cycling product, but of the industry needs from both a supplier, retailer and end users point of view.

Jonathan Carter joins as Internal Area Account Manager for the South East after 13 years managing bike shops in Bristol and London. A keen mountain bike, Carter has been riding and racing MTB across all disciplines since 1988.

Oli Brown, also a keen mountain biker, has been recruited as Internal Area Account manager and will be working alongside Nick White covering the new territory of East Anglia and the Midlands. Having already had a very successful career in the cycle industry for a UK bicycle distributor working as a member of an Internal Sales team, Brown also has good retail and customer service knowledge having worked for a Bristol based shop as an Assistant Manager for five years.
