Pedros products will be available from Trek Bicycle Corporation Ltd and Greyville Enterprises Ltd. In the US, Pedros is distributed by Trek USA and a multitude of other distributors, and there are also a number of distributors in Germany, the biggest European market for Pedros products.
Richard Allmark, commercial director of Fisher Outdoor Leisure plc, said it was a sensible move for both Pedros and Fisher:
"We felt that Pedros was not a long-term, viable proposition for Fisher’s as we have other projects that we’re trying to bring to market but aren’t yet ready to launch.
"And as the official Tacx distributor we’ve got a lot to be had out of promoting and developing the extensive Tacx tool range."
According to Trek UK general manager Nigel Roberts, the distribution deal with Pedros is a long-term one:
"Trek UK is very pleased to be distributing Pedro’s products. They make a great range of very high quality and innovative products that really meet the market and they have a well established brand identity in the UK.
"As such the Pedros brand fits well with our own brand portfolio and should only help to strengthen our trading partnerships with our customers. We’re really looking forward to doing business with Pedros for the long term."
Neill Keen, sales and marketing manager for Greyville is pleased to be working with Pedros again (he was formerly the sales and marketing manager at Fisher Outdoor Leisure).

Bruce Fina, founder and European manager for Pedros (pictured above at last year’s Fisher roadshow), said:
"We will continue to grow our business in the UK with a strong focus on the IBD. With Trek and Greyville we have great partners to work with and their experience in this market is second to none."
Pedros is to be the Official Bike Care Sponsor of the Great Britain Cycling Team for the 2003 season, joining Trek as the Official Bike Supplier.
