Sean Reynolds has taken on responsibility for ION Bikes in the UK and Ireland.
With 25 years of experience in the bike industry, Reynolds will be the front line for sales and media, dealing with ION stockists, existing and new, supporting team riders, brand ambassadors and working closely with the UK media to grow the ION brand as well as helping out with any warranty issues.
Reynolds is organiser of The BIke Place show and director at Green Hornet Distribution.
He said: “I have been riding mountain bikes since 1984 and still have a massive passion for it, doesn’t matter if riding downhill bikes in the alps, or more natural trail orientated riding like last night outside my backdoor in the Chiltern Hills along with my trail dog Foster. ION have a great range of technical products that I am very happy to be representing. It’s a new and fresh approach to mountain bike wear, there is something for everyone in the range.”
Thomas Latein, brand manager of ION soft goods, added: “ION is about challenging yourself, experiencing nature and surfing trails. So Sean is the perfect fit for ION in UK: He is not only an avid biker (since ages) and an outstanding, down to earth, “go to” character, but also has a great network in the UK bike industry and a professional, proven sales background.
