Following the departure of long-term account manager David Smith, Tandem Group Cycles has now introduced Paul King into the team.
King joins the team from outside the cycling industry, following twenty-four years of running his family business. Although not having worked within the industry, King is an avid road and MTB cyclist, having completed various cycling events and challenges over the years.
“I am looking forward to combining my business experience and my passion for cycling to help develop the strong dealership network in my territory. I’m especially excited to join Tandem Group Cycles as we prepare for our new range of products due to release in January 2018,” commented King.
Sales director Julie Hayward added: “Our industry is a very small one, so it’s great for us to bring in some new blood. Already Paul has done a great job in building relationships with existing dealers and, opening new accounts to help us grow, so we’re excited to see what he can do with our completely overhauled 2018 ranges when they become available in January.”
