Customer service and sales person – Avon Valley Cyclery

Avon Valley Cyclery needs someone who is friendly, creative and self motivated, and who enjoys engaging with the public to join its sales team. This is a customer-focused role in which you will provide sales advice and service to its customers in store as well as providing the same approachable service to remote customers via phone and email. The aim is to at all times give the highest standard of service with a friendly approach. Additional duties will include the processing of incoming telephone and web orders, arranging dispatch of goods and maintaining a high level of cleanliness and presentation in store. Input into evolving and improving the product range and services that Avon Valley Cyclery provides and the systems in use as a whole are welcomed.

Purchasing and web controller – Swift Cycles

You’ll be responsible for carrying out all purchasing functions to support the store’s sales team and busy workshop. To do this, you’ll need to build and maintain good working relationships with all of its suppliers. Once it has the stuff to sell, it will rely on you to tell its customers by maintaining the website so that it accurately reflects the range of bikes and products it carries. You’ll be working with great brands such as Argon 18, Cannondale, Cervelo, Focus, Orbea and Trek. You’ll also get to shape the store’s offering by making recommendations in terms of brands and products to stock in store. This is a great opportunity to either enter or grow your experience in the cycle retail sector as well as gain a deep understanding of the products, systems and processes that drive a busy retail store and key in terms of setting the store up for future success.

Marketing and sales manager – Morvélo

Morvélo Bicycle Apparel is looking for a dynamic new marketing and sales manager who lives and breathes cycling in all its forms and has a proven track record in driving sales and increasing brand awareness. It is an exciting and varied role that will see the right candidate grow in responsibility as the business continues to expand. As Morvélo is a small and passionate team, it is more than a standard marketing role: not only will your creative ideas and detailed planning, analysis, budgeting and execution drive sales, but you will also work closely with its web development agency to optimise visitor to customer conversion rate, average order value and customer retention. You may also be involved with events and photoshoots.

Sales and customer care advisor – Cyclo Monster

Cyclo Monster is looking for an experienced enthusiastic sales person with a passion and experience of cycling. You will be confident talking to customers, be able to tailor your approach based on the customer’s knowledge and be passionate about providing great customer service. You will be required to sell a wide range of products and bicycle types. In a busy and exciting environment, Cyclo Monster strives to deliver outstanding service to its customers. Providing the latest products across all disciplines, including – mountain, road, electric, leisure and kids.

Full time or part-time mechanic – Get A Grip Bicycle Workshop

A full time or part-time mechanic required for a small, friendly but busy workshop in Clapham, South London. Skill/experience required: minimum experience of two years and above (preferably with Cytech 2 or above, or an equivalent to it); good verbal communicator; excellent customer service essential; must be able to work well under pressure, demonstrate excellent time management skills, work accurately and to a high standard; be expected to manage your workload, parts & tools required and keep the workshop tidy and organised; booking in and assessing jobs face to face and over the phone; working on shop floor serving customers at busy time, if needed; and recent checkable trade experience.
