As of June 1st 2014, Giles David is Wiggle’s chief financial officer.
David replaces Jim Buckle who is leaving to become COO of cosmetics business Feel Unique.
David joins from United House, the developer and contractor, where he was CFO having held the same role at Brighthouse, the furniture, electrical retail and financial services business. A qualified accountant, David’s career has included roles at O2, Energis, M&S Direct and Esso Petroleum.
Last year the online giant appointed Stefan Barden as CEO, replacing Humphrey Cobbold. It was back in 2011 that private equity firm Bridgepoint invested in the Portsmouth-based business. More recently, Wiggle has moved into servicing through a relationship with Goodman Business Parks.
